Oto to Kanashimi (Sound and Sorrow)

About the short
This is the demo to a bigger project. We made a fictional intro bout an anime furry show. We started doing this project with the goal of participating in Furreality 2017 on 10/08/2017, but it got a bit bigger than that cause now we want to make this project happen to the fullest extent. The show plot is about highschoolers that have a double life in which they have special abilities and they have to face unspeakable dangers to protect the ones they love or destroy those who oppose them and there are also some that are plain neutral to whats happening around them. Since we only had 18 days to do this project we only had time for a basic concept and we're still working on the plot and characters.
We were inspired by Hello Luna's song "Sound and Sorrow" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57K2EbIi9GM) and this beautiful portrait drawn by Mcnus called Valentine (that's the reason of the main character's name XD):

About the characters
1. Valentina (バレンティーナ)
Main character Fox lady with purple hair shes very emotional
2. Mcnus (マックヌース) dark gray cat he's the current boyfriend of Valentina he's Alice' ex boyfriend he's unpredictable
3. Onasi (オナシ) Goat girl
She's very sarcastic and smart
She's got a cool personality
She's the nerd of the group
4. Bek (ベック) Elephant
He's the school's quaterback
Asako's Boyfriend, together they're the popular couple of the school
5. Asako (あさこ) White and blue bunny
She's the hottest chick in school
She's popular and also a little silly
She's a cheerleader and Bek's girlfriend
6. Alice (アリス) brown bunny
She's a lil unstable and also very emotional
She's caring
She's under depression and has suicidal tendencies
7. Anton (アントン) Black wolf with green hair
He's a rebel
8. Boanerhami Sama (ボアヌハミ 先生)
He's the lion
Professor and mentor for some stundents
He's wise and has a noble soul
About the characters
Well.... we didn't have time to do the story boards and we basically skipped the character design so it was pretty much hell for the animators D=... i hope they can forgive some day... but here, take a lil look :3
